FDLRS Human Resource Development (HRD) personnel have knowledge of research-based instructional practices and resources in the areas of classroom behavior management, instructional strategies (reading, math, and science), differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning, explicit instruction, secondary transition, collaborative teaching, and other Florida Department of Education initiatives.
FDLRS HRD Specialist collaborate with school district personnel, community agencies, educational service providers, and other stakeholders to plan, deliver, follow-up, and evaluate data-based professional learning opportunities.
FDLRS Technology personnel provides assistance and support in the appropriate use of a variety of technologies for students, teachers, professional staff, and parents. Support services are available in the areas of assistive technology, instructional technology, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Accessible Educational Materials (AEM), and virtual instruction.
FDLRS Technology Specialists at all of the local FDLRS Associate Centers also collaborate with the MTSS Technology and Learning Regional Technology Specialists (TLC-MTSS) and district-based Assistive Technology Specialists.
