Description:	The overall goal of the Disabled Services Division is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by addressing, researching, and attempting to resolve the many barriers they encounter. Services inlude: - conferences, public hearings, accessibility surveys and compliance - information and referrals for transportation, employment, medical and financial assistance, peer counseling and recreation, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) information - publication of The Directory of Services for People with Disabilities, Disabled Parking Dos and Don'ts, and Online Community Calendar of events - awareness presentations to public and private sector agencies - Jim Brady Scholarship Fund (for Duval County High School Seniors with disabilities)
