Description:

Child Find is part of the statewide FDLRS network which provides support services to children with special needs.  Children may be referred by parents, physicians, community agencies, day care centers, or others, for any of the following services:

Screening for possible delays in speech, language, developmental readiness skills, hearing, vision, motor, or behavioral problems

Assistance in placing children with special needs in appropriate educational programs

Resource information for children with special needs, including distribution of the resource directory, Special Places for Special Kids

Professional Consultation for parents
