YMCA Camp Indian Springs offers a week
of overnight camping for children who are hearing-impaired. Campers
are mainstreamed into regular camp activities through the assistance
of volunteer staff who communicate using sign language. Activities
include canoeing, swimming, camp craft, arts and crafts, sports,
horseback riding, and plenty of good food and fun. This is
an opportunity for hearing and hearing-impaired campers to interact
in an environment that is safe and secure. |
