Description:

Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is a public school for students who are deaf/hard-of-hearing or visually impaired from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.  Founded in 1885, the school awards both standard and special diplomas.  Graduates attend colleges, universities, and technical training centers and enter a full range of professional careers and trades.  See separate entry for Outreach Services.
