Description: |
Adult Developmental Training Program: Adults
with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other developmental
conditions are trained to increase skills in areas of self-care,
social skills, motor skills, recreation and job readiness. |
|
|
Children’s Services: Developmental,
speech, physical and occupational therapies are provided for infants
and toddlers. Services are provided in children’s
homes, community day-care centers, or at the agency working with
the family. |
|
|
Non-Residential Support Services: Assistance
is provided to improve social behaviors, plan for transportation,
and become familiar and comfortable in community settings. |
|
|
|
|
Respite: The Compassionate
Pals Respite Program provides in-home respite services by trained
caregivers to families who have developmentally disabled persons
of any age. |
|
|
Supported Employment: This
program assists individuals in locating appropriate employment,
provides on-the-job training, and assists with worksite integration
and other work-related issues. |
|
|
Supported Living: The
Supported Living Program assists individuals in securing and maintaining
independent living status in the community with ongoing support and
supervision from an assigned Support Living Specialist. |
|
|
Therapies: Speech, occupational,
and physical therapies for children over the age of three and for
adults are available at the agency by appointment. |
