Individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism, Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, autistic-like disabilities, dual-sensory impairments, or sensory impairment with other disabling conditions

Statewide; Jacksonville CARD serves Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, and St. Johns counties.

Description:

Home Services – informal assessments, specific skill development, family support, referrals to community agencies/programs/professionals, information, support groups, parent workshops

School Services – school consultation, observation and recommendations, collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators, functional analysis of behavior, assistance with IEP’s, teacher workshops and training

Professional Consultation – psychiatric consultation, medication management, family/individual counseling, and genetics consultation and testing

Public Awareness – seminars, newsletters
